So here is the thing I love about sketches.... they are the springboard for your imagination, not the anchor to pull you down. Obviously I didn't take the sketch to the left completely seriously... it is flipped on it's side and the elements are a lot different. But... if you look close you can see the interpretation at work. :) The sketch is for the Friday Fun at Fairy Knoll challenge (hope you can join us!) and features Shelly, also from Fairy Knoll. The papers are all from the scrap bin. :) The image is colored with Copics and her hair has shimmer in it, I just didn't get that great of a photo. :( The shell and her tail are covered in Liquid Glass to give a wet look. The inside says "Hello Sunshine". :)
