Crisp Autumn Days

Autumn... apples, mums, asters, cool days, warm nights, apple cider, apple pie,

soups, time with family, more time to create, more time to breathe.

Say Hello to my little stone froggie... he love flowers. :)

And he makes me smile every single time I see him... priceless.

Decorations that sit on my old, old trunk.. This trunk is one of my special treasures, found an estate sale of a wonderful woman who dedicated her days to teaching and encouraging youth... this truck is at least 100 years old and has the travel tags to prove it.

My silly husband accidentally locked the trunk one day... unfortunately the keys were (and still are) residing within....

A simple floral arrangement made last night. My table needed it! Isn't it wonderful how a quick journey to a craft store and a few misc. items can make a table happy? Now to finish the runner...

Finally a project made with fabric, paper and glue ~ some of my very favorite things. This photo was actually taken by my husband, but it speaks to my soul.... sometimes you must be brave and strong and walk forward on your own.

Are you ready for some changes?

I have been posting only my card creations for quite sometime now and it's time for me to switch it up. Creatively making cards on a such a regular basis is burning me out ~ so from now on this blog will reflect everything creative I am doing. :)

This last weekend I participated in a SiStv scrapbooking weekend and had the most fun... it was a total jumpstart to my creativity that was completely needed! I sprayed tons of things with Shimmerz Spritz while creating and when I was done the paper I had used to catch the overspray was beautiful and I just couldn't throw it away... so it became the mat behind this photo..

Christmas is coming!

These were made for a scrapping survivor contest over at SiStv... I had way too much fun this weekend scrapping... you can totally tell by the condition my house is in! :)

I used the Fleur De Lis die from Spellbinders ( purchased from SCACD of course!) and a tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers to make the snowflakes. Plus there is about a ton of Shimmerz Spritz on everything! Hope you likey!

Shore Do Love You

I have been working on this card for quite sometime now. The image is from C.C. Designs at All That Scraps. She was lots of fun to color and decorate! There is glitter, glitter paint and specialty glaze on the chipboard frame, the background behind the mermaid is embossed vellum. I also used Sparkley Fluff and Art Institute Glitter on the papers.

The bottom photo shows my little helper Annie... she was bound and determined to be in every picture! :) Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Smiles ~ Brandi

Always Dream

I bet you all thought I had abandoned you... fear not I am still around! lol!

My laptop (full equiped with Window Vista 64 bit) is having some major issues (no uploading or downloading) that all stems from a recent (failed) Microsoft Update that I still have not figured out how to fix. One thing I do know... it's not a virus and it is not Norton's fault!

Any whooo I stole my husbands computer so I could share this beautiful little card with you. The papers are all from CTMH and they are divine... where did the image come from? Why from Pollycraft of course. Isn't she a doll? Her name is Aurelia Mooncatcher ~ Love her! The moon and string are cut out and popped up for dimension. The coloring is done with Prisma's and I used lots of Art Institute glitter. Well this must be short and sweet... ta ta for now! Hope to visit with you all soon! Smiles ~ Brandi
