Did I spook you? Probably not! :) This week we are kicking off the "Haunting Halloween" challenge over at the Fun At Fairy Knoll Challenge. Obviously I didn't take the super scary route! :)

The image I used for this card is called Halloween Cupcake Fairy. I tried really hard to get some shading worked into her outfit, but it's not quite there yet ~ maybe next time. Papers are from K&Co and the shimmer is all Stickles. :)

Blinged Out Birthday

Break out your glitter girls ~ this week the Fun at Fairy Knoll challenge is Blinged Out Birthday! Talk about a challenge with a lot of possibilities!!! :)

My card features Birthday Cake Fairy ~ she can also be purchased as Birthday Cake Girl to make her a little more versitile. :) Isn't she cute! I worked in an opposite manner from my normal routine and picked out my papers first.... that made coloring so much fun! I can't image picking out this color combo without inspiration. The dots and the sparkle on the flowers are brought to you by Stickles. The DP is from Bo Bunny, sentiment stamp from PMS, hearts from a Martha Stewart punch, and Kaisercraft pearls. Friday Fun at Fairy Knoll Challenge

Today is the start of a new Friday Fun at Fairy Knoll Challenge. My card today features Annika. I had a lot of fun coloring her in such a sunshiney yellow. Yellow is a color that is often neglected in my creating, but now that I have noticed that fact, hopefully it will no longer be. :) The glitter (on everthing but the fairy ~ that is Art Institute) is from Stardust Stickles. Stickles are something else that have been negelected of late. :0) Paper is Basic Grey and Stampin Up cardstock. Flowers are from my stash ~ the centers are dewdrops and the bling is from Prima. Magic...

Happy Day to you! Today I have a little bit of Magic to share with you...

a Sneak Peek at Magic that is! Magic is a new stamp from Fairy Knoll that will be released on Wednesday June 30th. The sentiment is part of a set that will also be released then. I wanted to add some more sparkle, but I am forbidden to get glitter in my husbands travel trailer.... it was hard, but somehow I resisted! :) Instead I dotted the background behind her with lots of soft Copic colors to give the impression of colored light coming from her wand... in essence... Magic!

She is colored with Copics and popped up to add some dimension. The papers are Basic Grey and My Minds Eye, bling is from Prima as are the flowers.

The sketch used is from Mojo Monday and the bling and sparkle qualify this card for the Oh Alice twinkle, twinkle challenge.
