Bellarific Friday a Day Early :)

Jessica Rone has a challenge called Forgotten Stamp Friday on her blog. How could anyone not join in after reading this ~ "Every week, I challenge myself, and all of you, to make a card using your poor, lonely, dusty, unused, forgotten stamps."? Now all I can hear all the sounds my poor desperately lonely stamps are making.... crying out for attention. Just a little ink, that's all we need... please, please, please. It's heartbreaking I tell you. So like any kind stamper would do I told them all about this challenge and that they would get a turn if they would just be patient a little bit longer, grabbed the first unused stamp off the pile, closed the lid on the rest of them and put them in the closet. :)

So if you read the title, you already have deducted that this is my card for this week's Bellarific Friday. The theme was flowers. I adore my stamps from Stamping Bella ~ they work with anything and look so darn cute! It was also made for the greeting card challenge at The Outlawz ~ Mother's Day or Girl card. And thankfully it's open week at Flutter By Wednesday's so it's a perfect fit there as well.

I am loving this gorgeous paper from Bo Bunny. When you use it, the card's just seem to make themselves. Well that's about it for today. Do you have any fun plans for National Scrapbook Day tomorrow? I am headed out to my local (well it's only about an hour away...) scrapbook store Urban Paper to celebrate. They are hosting a crop so it should be lots of fun!

Hello everyone out there in blogland! I have been cleaning up my craftroom (more like shifting everything about ~ but we won't go there!) and I have found all this cool stuff that I own.... a cricut, cartridges for the cricut, shimmerz spritz, a distressing tool, cuttlebug folders, brads, sentiment stamps... talk about awesome finds! :) So I decided to use them all on this card and then when I was done with everything I put somewhere I could find it again... this is a major accomplishment for me. My craft room pretty much always looks like a major bomb went off in it!

The card features paper from DCVW, the image is Jess from Fairy Knoll, the diecuts are from the Home Accents cricut cartridge, and the brads are from Making Memories.

It's Flutter By Wednesday!

Welcome to a Clean and Simple challenge at Flutter By Wednesday... just remember to include a butterfly, fairy or angel and you are good to go! :)

My card features some gorgeous paper I have been hoarding from CTMH... love it! I also used a chipboard clock from my stash (Heidi Swapp?) a sentiment printed on my handy dandy printer, some swirls from Zva Creative and some punched out butterflies. A couple of quick notes on the butterflies... they are punched from cardstock ran through the cuttlebug to add texture and then chalked to add shimmer.

Flutter By Wednesday #102

Don't try to adjust your monitors... this card has no glitter on it... not one little piece. It's a sad day in Brandiland... I couldn't find my glue pen or my glitter pen...

But I still think it is pretty cute... what card wouldn't be cute with a Swiss Pixie on it? Her little dress is paper pieced. The papers are from an old DCWV stack and she is colored with Copics.

Flutter By Wednesday #101

Hi! Happy Saint Paddy's Day! Today's Flutter By Wednesday is sponsored by Paper Makeup Stamps... be sure to check out the Flutter By Wednesday blog to get all the details. The challenge this week is to use green and or shamrocks, but it would be super awesome if you could use a PMS image too! :)





My project is super simple, but something that is nice to have on hand. It is a flower seed packet cover... pretty slick... lol!





I used Sprout from PMS... she is one of my favorites of their images. She is colored with Copics and the background is sponged with chalk and Brilliance inks. I cut a shamrock out of some background paper and made a hair bow decoration. The back of the seed packet cover was punched with the closest thing I had to a Celtic design punch.

It feels pretty wonderful to be celebrating Flutter By Wednesday's 100th challenge! I am so happy that Danni started FBW and it is so exciting to see how far her challenge has come. Hello... sorry it has been so long since my last post. My grandmother has been in the hospital for the last week and a half so life has been more than hectic.

Flutter By Wednesday # 96

Hello my darling blog friends... I am on vacation this week and have been working like a crazy person here at home. My scraproom is undergoing a major renovation and I am testing the waters with some new crafty ventures... there will be more on that in the near future and hopefully some pictures of my super colorful craft room... Any whooo on to the reason you are visiting... my card for Flutter By Wednesday...

My card features the Flower Fairy set from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps and the layout is based on the Papertake Weekly Challenge sketch. The fairy is colored with copics and the green piece of paper is cardstock punched with an EK Sucess punch and scored. I used Rock Candy and Diamond Stickles and Prima roses.

Flutter By Wednesday

Did you miss me? I can't believe I haven't posted since last Wednesday! Life has been so darn busy, but with mostly fun stuff so no complaining will be heard from me!

Today's card is very simple... it needed to be created quickly! I was buzzing around my house at the speed of light last night decorating and cleaning for a Celebrating Home party I am having today when it struck me (around 10:30 pm) that I need to make a card for Flutter By Wednesday... a minor panic attack later... this little card appeared. :) Luckily I had colored (with Prisma's) this darling little fairy from The Greeting Farm! Yippie... some scraps, a sentiment stamp from PMS, and some bling and it was done!

Off to clean in a frenzy again! How come my house didn't seem dirty until I invited people over???

Exciting News!

I have some very exciting news!! I am going to be a guest designer for Flutter By Wednesday! :) So in honor of the occasion I made a card to participate this week.....

My card features an amazing stamp from Sweet Pea Stamps called Come Softly. She is colored appropriately enough (lol) in soft Copic colors. :) All the papers are from my scrapbin (which is being diligently organinzed!) and the sentiment is from Close to My Heart.
