Whiff of Joy is having a another guest design team call... you can find all of the details on the Whiff of Joy Challenge Blog. This darling little boy is from the new Elisabeth Bell spring collection at Whiff of Joy. He is super special, because he sits... on a stump! I hope everyone is having a fabulous weekend ~ it's hard to believe it's almost over.

I don't know if you are all aware, but I absolutely adore Elisabeth Bell. Her stamps are wonderful! This one is from the new Whiff of Joy Spring Stamp Kit. I have been stalking my mailbox since the email came saying the stamps had shipped. This might be my favorite image, but I'm not sure yet! The others are stamped and waiting on my craft table to be colored. :0)

Shimmerz.... do I need to say more? I so love sparkle and glitter. Ahhhh!

Here is the card I made based on the sketch. The stamp is Lost In Thought from the Faerie Song stamp line. She is available from Susana's store as well. The faerie's dress is paper pieced and she was colored with Copic markers. Then came the Shimmerz... lots and lots of Shimmerz. I just love that stuff! Talk about sparkle power.
Example #1 Paper: Fancy Pants, Scenic Route ~ Transparency: Hambly ~ Ribbon: Walmart ~ Rubon: Autumn Leaves ~Embellishments: Paper Cellar, Prima, Blue Moon and of course Shimmerz! You can really see it in the closeup! In order to get the word out about our challenge, I will also be offering blog candy! There will be two winners... the first number drawn will get their choice of the following two stamp sets. Click pictures to enlarge. :)
Sweet Love

This little birthday card was made for the sketch challenge over at Club Anya. It doesn't exactly follow the sketch for some unknown reason - I really thought I was following it fairly closely and then when I was finished and everything was glued down (of course) I realised the two circle halves were not supposed to be facing each other! DUH! Oh well. It's still a cute card - the unicorn totally reminds me of my little ponies.
Doesn't she look cozy? Lindsay is giving away blog candy. Visit her blog for more info! This is one of the digital stamps she designed, that are available at Pink Papery Studios.

I made this card for the technique challenge on Splitcoast. It wasn't too hard to make the recessed window (thanks to GardenDiva), but then I couldn't figure out what to do on the rest of the card! Obviously no forethought went into the design. Dorothy Anya got a haircut and a plaid dress. Okay now what? I was blank - seriously all that was happening in my brain was static. So the card and it's pieces got left on the scrap table until this afternoon.... when a brain wave happened!! And I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my card. Hurray!
