Note to Self: Stop with the Embellishments before your card tips over!

Stop the embellishing madness.... that's what I had to tell myself this morning... it was hard, but I managed to put down the glue dots and the hearts. lol!

This little Precocious Pixie stole my heart the minute I saw her... I'm not sure what she's up to, but it looks like it might be trouble! The color scheme is based on the Hope Stamps Eternal Cupcake Challenge ~ it is such a fun challenge! The only problem is that now I am coloring everything in shades of blue, pink and yellow. :)

My supplies are a mix from the scrap pile: the heart paper is Heidi Swapp, the background paper is Dream Street and the green panel is from Bo Bunny.

FSAS16 Butterfly Fairy

Hello... Happy Tuesday! I wanted to share this sketch I made for the Faerie Song Art Group on PCP. Every other week a new sketch is posted and you have two weeks to finish it and post it for our group. Then once a month a winner is drawn for a FREE Faerie Song Art Stamp. This card was made based on the sketch above. It features one of the newest stamps offered by Faerie Song Art Stamps... from the stamp sheet Faerie Fantasy. The artist's name is Gretchen Raisch-Baskin. Isn't this fairy fabulous? Love her!

Bookmark Tutorial

Today's project is a cute little bookmark featuring Willy the Worm from Victoria Case. I made a tutorial on how to make the bookmark and you can find it on the Victoria Case Stamp Blog.

My niece also made a bookmark and she asked if I would put it on my blog. She is only 6, but look what a wonderful bookmark she made! Hope you all have a fabulous Tuesday!

Wave hello to Gardenia Gardenthumb... We are watching her plant flowers through the window in our imaginations. Doesn't she look as if she is having a lovely time? This sketch was lots of fun and simple to put together. All papers are from Daisy D's and the baubles are from Stamping Bella.

FSAS 13 and present update!

I host a sketch challenge bi-weekly on the Faerie Song Art Stamps Group on PCP. This is the sketch for the next two weeks and my example. I had to take a closeup so you could see all the wonderful sparkle... not only is there glitter, but also sparkly chalks that I forgot I had... (insert embarrassed giggle) but that I am so glad I found! The stamp is from Faerie Song and her name is Hayley... she is extra moody, but so sweet! Paper is Kaiser Craft and the flowers are cut using my spellbinders flower die.

Here is the card I made based on the sketch. The stamp is Lost In Thought from the Faerie Song stamp line. She is available from Susana's store as well. The faerie's dress is paper pieced and she was colored with Copic markers. Then came the Shimmerz... lots and lots of Shimmerz. I just love that stuff! Talk about sparkle power.
