Are You Ready to Get Twisty?

Love Potion # 9

It's Twisty Thursday and I have the lovely Josephine to share with you. Josephine is a wild and wacky woman ~ not to sure I would be brave enough to drink whatever potion she brewed up!

I broke out the My Mind's Eye Be Loved paper pack and went to town. I love the colors in these papers... so many ways to use them! Josephine is colored with Copics and glittered up with stickles.

May you have creatively wild and twisty day! Smiles ~ Brandi

It's a cupcake, It's a cupcake

It's a Cupcake Inspiration Challenge... #42 to be exact! :)

Love Mo HSE

I love Cupcake Inspiration Challenges... they make me turn on the creative part of my brain and they seem to shake inspiration loose in a different way. Here is the inspiration photo.

I went mostly for the colors and the swirls... my main accessories were the wonderful image called Sunday's Child by Mo and the scattered Prima's. Here is what the inside looks like. The sentiments are from Close to My Heart.

Inspired by....

Mouserkin HSE Cupcake Challenge
This was a labor of love folks... it took way more work to keep this card flat than it would have to pile on the lumpy bumpy embellishments. Don't get me wrong... I adore embellishments in all shapes and sizes. However the post office doesn't seem to have the same affinity for them that I do.... so this is why I decided it was time to try a flat card again. Got say I loved how it turned out. :)

The jumping off point for this card was the Hope Stamps Eternal Cupcake challenge (see the picture above)... this is one of the bestest inspirational challenges in my personal opinion... Your inspiration can come from any portion of the picture. I used the colors and the swirls on the cupcakes to get myself off on the right foot. The image is a stamp from FSAS from the Mouserkin series. She looks so thoughtful and serene to me. :) The sentiment is from PMS and the swirl stamped in green is from Autumn Leaves. Copics were the coloring medium, a paint dauber added the shimmer to the scene and Stickles added the sparkle.

Wishing you a Terrific Tuesday! Smiles ~ Brandi

Celebrate

Celebrate Mo

Today I am celebrating My Minds Eye... those awesome people came up with some crazy color combos that rock! Red and turoquoise ~ WHAT! Yep, they went there... and then they added yellow... yes, YellOw.... who would have thunk it? But look what happens when those fabulous colors get mixed together... a crazy happy card! And if you would note ~ I colored the image to match the papers... that never happens in Brandiland... oh no.... normally the image gets colored and then the hunt for paper is ON! Then I get depressed cause the perfect paper is no where to be located in my craft disaster and I toodle off to bed... but not TONIGHT!! This is a good feeling! lol! :)

The fabulous papers can be found HERE at Hope Stamps Eternal ,the image is from the Marvelous Mo at Mo's Digital Pencil, and you can find the magnificent sketch at Lord Have Mercy.

Today's tip of the day... if you happen to purchase the Love Me Do My Minds Eye kit save the description paper in the front of the pack. I chopped it up and used it for three part panel behind my image... :)

Hope your Friday is awesome! Smiles ~ Brandi

Note to Self: Stop with the Embellishments before your card tips over!

FSAS23 card

Stop the embellishing madness.... that's what I had to tell myself this morning... it was hard, but I managed to put down the glue dots and the hearts. lol!

This little Precocious Pixie stole my heart the minute I saw her... I'm not sure what she's up to, but it looks like it might be trouble! The color scheme is based on the Hope Stamps Eternal Cupcake Challenge ~ it is such a fun challenge! The only problem is that now I am coloring everything in shades of blue, pink and yellow. :)

My supplies are a mix from the scrap pile: the heart paper is Heidi Swapp, the background paper is Dream Street and the green panel is from Bo Bunny.

Hope you had a fabulous day! Smiles ~ Brandi
