Ketto Mania ~ It's a blog hop!

Welcome to the first Ketto Blog Hop sponsored by Stamping Bella! If you've just happened upon my blog, you can CLICK HERE to start from the beginning at Bloggabella.

Miss Suzette Ketto has been begging to be let out of her "bag" and inked up! How could I help but oblige? She is stamped with Memento Tux Black ink on Neenah Solar white cardstock, then masked off so Maisy's Flowers could be stamped all around her... now that was fun! I found one of my Kaleidacolor ink pads and had a blast! Suzette was cut and framed with Nesties and she is now living with a Basic Grey backdrop! I added some flowers, a sentiment and glitter "stitching" and ~ viola ~ she is done! I hope you enjoyed my card!

Now you are off to the fabulous Shannon! Have a wonderful weekend!

Fred She Said

Fred She Said has this wonderful digi set with lots of sea creatures and a super cute mermaid! These were so fun to color and lend themselves to lots of different ideas. They also offer these wonderful flowers to color and layer. I have some but I am waiting for my Prismacolor pencils to arrive to play with them. Hopefully I will be able to master the Gamasol coloring process ~ I am certainly excited enough about it! Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

A Whole Ketto of Love

Well in honor of the sketch card for Stamping Bella that I wanted to make but ran out of time to make I thought I would share this little card I made last weekend for a color challenge using only red black and white. The inside says "I heart you". Happy Friday!

On a personal note... I am so excited for this evening. We have the "World Famous" Lipazzaner Stallions coming to our little town for what reason I'm not really sure.... but we have tickets which were a strain on the old budget but hopefully will be worth it! I used to watch a movie (over and over and over) when I was a little girl called Miracle of the White Stallions so this is kind of an old dream come true. Yea!!

VSN ~ Las Vegas... Baby

I spent most of Saturday (until the internet went out) playing at VSN (Virtual Stamp Night) Las Vegas over at Split Coast Stampers. What a load of fun. There are challenges galore and you only get 45 minutes to complete each one. I seriously had a blast! These cute little Lily's (purchased from SCACD) were made for a contest titled "Double Down" were you had to make two cards exactly the same in 45 mins. Lily is seriously cute.. dontcha think?

This challenge revolved around food, or in Abigail's case the lack of food. Isn't she just the cutest? Abigail is also from SCACD. I just love variety of stamps Susana carries and her excellent service! The look on Abigail's face it priceless!

Anya Says Thank You!

Anya is bringing something over in those buckets as a thank you... now that I write that it seems kinda weird. You know like what is really in those buckets? Is this a good thank you or a bad thank you? Let's not worry about that now. Hopefully whoever gets this card won't be traveling the same thought pattern as my mind just did! :)
I love Rock the Farm Anya ~ she is super cute, happy and ohhh so helpful! My card today is based on the sketch challenge over at Split Coast Stampers. Papers are all by My Minds Eye. Ribbon is from the stash.
Have a happy Thursday and stay tuned tomorrow.... I have a few cards to show you featuring the awesome new stamps being released at SCACD that were designed by Victoria Case. I can hardly wait.... how about you?

Whale Hugs

Okay this is the sweetest image I have ever seen... love, love, love this image! Whale Hugs is a new digi from BeccaKay Designs. I have been waiting patiently ( or maybe not so patiently depending on who you talk to) for this digi stamp and I am sooooo excited to see it is now available!

My papers are a mix from BoBunny and Cloud Nine. The image is colored with Copics. The sentiment is from Stampin Up and we have dewdrops from the Robin's Nest.

Have a fabulous Wednesday... we are on the downhill side now! Don't forget about the awesome blog candy - details in the post below!

Major Blog Candy Alert!

My card today features Monster Hugs from Victoria Case Art Designs. The expressions on their faces are so sweet! I used paper from Prima for this card.

Speaking of sweet I want to tell you all about some awesome blog candy being given away by both Susana's Custom Art and Card Design and Victoria Case Art Designs. These two wonderful ladies have collaborated and come up with some of the cutest stamps! To celebrate they both are giving away an entire set of the new release! There are NINE stamps in the set! And they are all super cute!! So head on over to their blogs (links are above) get the details and get entered to win. The release is scheduled for this Friday, but I hear there is a puzzle piece reveal on Susana's blog! Have a Happy Monday and good luck!

Victoria Case Art Designs has a set of new digi images out this week... these two cards were made with two of the images.
I made the koala card for my mom for mother's day... she has always like koalas, so when I saw this image I knew it was the one! Hopefully that kind of explains the hearts going up the side of the card. The papers are from Cloud Nine.
The second card features a sort of wistful fairy. To me, she looks like she is thinking about someone special. Making the scene was fun ~ depth isn't really something that I normally think about when making a card. LOL It is good to give the brain a good stretch! Papers on this card are from Making Memories and Bo Bunny, the sun was made from a die cut from the cricut and a petaloo flower and the tree is also a cricut die cut, but it has dewdrops from the Robin's Nest for fruit.
This release also has an angel, a baseball player, a teacher, a hot chef, a chick, a rhino, and a cute little honey bear...
Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

Just Magnolia ~ Sketch 2

Please forgive the very messy background in my photo... it's getting late and I am getting lazy! This card is based on the sketch at Just Magnolia, a challenge blog for Magnolia's only... I can almost hear you saying "well duh, Brandi"!

For the longest time I was able to resist the siren call of the Magnolia... my biggest problem was that they don't have mouths. Somehow though, they grew on me. BUT I still resisted. Then a lovely lady that I know sent me a few images with a card and suddenly resistance became futile! So now I have a couple of Magnolia images on my wishlist... come on paycheck!

Have a Happy Friday!

Mojo Monday on Thursday... at least it's in the same week!

Meet Dahlia... don't cha just love her? She is a new addition to the line up at The Greeting Farm. They have some of the cutest stamps!
Dahlia is also my entry for Mojo Monday. I love the sketches that they design over there!
I still can't decide exactly what she is thinking.. is she excited, confused or just happy? What do you think?
My papers are from Bo Bunny and Cloud Nine.. who knows where I picked up the ribbon (lol), the buttons are doodlebug and the shimmer is stickles!
Have a peachy day!

Talk about fun to make! These little guys are awesome to color and they just plain crack me up! Dustin Pike created these rascally monkeys .. can you tell I'm a fan of his? Stop by his blog if you can - he has an awesome deal on digi's right now. A pack of ten for just $10.00 ~ a buck apiece!
Anyway short post... it really is the last one for the night!

A Glimpse of my Weekend

It will probably be tomorrow before I am back with more cards to post. Everything is torn apart in our upstairs at the moment as we (mostly my husband and a little bit me) work toward getting all of my crafty stuff into the newly designated craft room. This first picture shows what it looked like Thursday morning. I need to dig up some older pictures so you can see what it looked like in the very beginning. To say that Steve has put a lot of work into this room would be one of the greatest understatements in the universe! Many nails were pulled from the flooring and and then a special procedure was used to get all the junk out of the cracks so that the floor could be painted. Truck loads of paneling were ripped off the walls and a the wall where the closet is had to be replaced entirely.

Then there was the sheetrock. It had been put up in strips horizontally and not very widely apart. The mudding and sanding took forever. The end result is looking pretty wonderful though! Here is a picture with the paint on the walls and floor. I will try to post another one once everything is moved in!

These two pictures show what took up the rest of our Friday evening and part of Saturday! Adventures!! The two neighbor kids and my niece and nephew came over and we went on a "hike" down to the little river and back up it aways. It was a blast! Well goodnight for now and I will be posting tomorrow! Happy Weekend!
